Metso Power is a forerunner in fluidized bed combustion for the pulp and paper industry and power producers, and a global leader in chemical recovery systems to pulp and paper mills. Metso Power has designed and manufactured the world's largest recovery units and biomass-fired fluidized bed boilers. It has over 800 boiler and evaporator units installed worldwide.
Metso Power's main operations are in Finland, Sweden, USA and Brazil, and have sales and engineering offices around the world. Metso Power has four production manufacturing units, one concentrating on new boiler production and three concentrating on service business.
Metso Power's US operations are located in Charlotte, NC devoted to sales, engineering and technology with two service centers strategically located in Fairmont, WV and Lancaster, SC.
The Fairmont Service Center is a 58,000 square foot facility concentrating on tube shields, plate work fabrication and machining.
The Lancaster Service Center is a 102,000 square foot facility concentrating on pressure part manufacturing.
Process capabilities include: saws, shears, press brakes, punch presses, tube benders, CNC milling, manual machining, CNC laser cutter, high def plasma and welding SH-D equipment including related tools to augment production.
In addition to metal fabrication competence, the Fairmont Service Center’s knowledge and experience in maintaining a significant inventory of stainless steel sheet has provided a competitive advantage by controlling cost and delivery of our Customer’s products.
